ON DECK: District champions crowned

District titles will be up for grabs in three sports as action on the tournament trail heats up in Northwest Ohio today.
A pair of area baseball teams will be playing for district championships today.
Courier writer Dave Hanneman will be in Elida as Leipsic takes on Delphos St. John’s for a Division IV district baseball crown at 5 p.m.
Our sister paper, the Fostoria Review Times will provide coverage of tonight’s Division IV district final at the Marathon Diamonds that features Hopewell-Loudon and Gibsonburg.
Also tonight, Courier reporter Nathan Inniger will be at Findlay High School for tonight’s Division IV district softball final featuring North Baltimore and Mohawk.
On the oval, there are district track meets at Tiffin and Fostoria.
Courier reporter Jamie Baker will be in Tiffin as Findlay High School’s track team try to win Division I district titles.
Writer Ted Radick will be in Fostoria for the Division II district meet which features Liberty-Benton, Elmwood, Ottawa-Glandorf and Upper Sandusky.
